Hi there! You've got Vic and today I'm going to be talking about nail art supplies, because you can't become a master nail artist without them. Each of our Dozen has spent countless hours finding the best places to buy their supplies and we'd like to share our tips and hints. Bear in mind, though, that this isn't a review of any of stores. I'd like to encourage you to do your research before choosing to use any of these stores.

ebay is probably the cheapest place to buy nail art supplies but it is a major time suck. I've gone on to the site to buy a rhinestone wheel and closed the window three hours later, having spent over £50.00. To get the most accurate info (including shipping prices), if ebay has a site dedicated to your country (.co.uk for me) then it's best to enter via that portal. Start with an idea of what you're looking for as my search for 'nail art' threw up over 160,000 results. Most items can be found under Health & Beauty > Manicure & Pedicure. Once you've selected the area you want to look at, narrow your search using type, format (I always go for Buy It Now because my time is more important than saving a few pennies on what will be a cheap item anyway) and item location (if fast shipping is important to you. Most Buy It Now items start at 99p/90c although you may get different prices depending on which portal you use. It's important to be as specific as you can in your search because the term 'nail art' gives you such a variety of items: rhinestones; brushes; nail wraps; decorations; pump dispensers; tools and more. Many sellers offer free shipping but don't discount products with additional shipping costs as the products are often cheaper to make up for the cost of shipping.

If you're a reader of blogs, you'll likely have heard of Born Pretty Store. Although they also sell other items, they're well known in the community as a top nail art emporium. They sell everything you could need, from studs and rhinestones, to stamping plates, polishes, foils and tools. The site is easy to navigate through and helpfully allows you to choose your currency from the start. Born Pretty lets you collect points on each order which can then be redeemed against future orders. Who doesn't like free nail art supplies? Each product listing gives you the option to read customer reviews and see their photos, and also gain further points by adding your own. Shipping (which is free) can take between 7 and 45 days depending on your location, but most people seem to receive their orders within three weeks.

The Digit-al Dozen have arranged a discount code for you to use when shopping at Born Pretty Store. Simple enter code BAGQ10 at the checkout to receive 10% off your order total.

If you've not seen the Banggood website before, you may have seen them as a seller on ebay. Banggood sells over 30,000 products including a range of nail art supplies over 800 strong. Prices start at less than £1.00 / $1.00 and shipping is free to most countries. All items can be shipped from the Banggood warehouse in China, although some have options to be sent from a warehouse in another location (US and UK being common options), however products from these warehouses are generally more expensive.

Winstonia sells a wide variety of nail art supplies including brushes, decorations, stamping equipment and tools. Prices start as low as $1.00 and there is free shipping within the US for orders over $25.00.

Tmart is another store worth checking out. It's very similar to Banggood in terms of both style and content. They also have warehouses in Hong Kong, the UK and the US with varying prices depending on which warehouse you order from but shipping is free.

KK Center HK sells a variety of nail art supplies and polishes including big brands such as China Glaze, Color Club and OPI and prices start at around $2.00.

Working nail technicians are full of knowledge when it comes to the less mainstream places to buy your nail art supplies. Techs and other bloggers have recommended to me places such as Dollar Nail Art and Designer Nail Supply but, some people are obviously disappointed in the supplies they've found online as they've started their own stores. In some cases this is as simple as selling items via Instagram (try MsNailgasm and StylishNailArt) but people such as Poochiez Nailz (The Nail Art Boutique), the Nailasaurus, Jasmine Oshima (The Nail Room) and Cynful Nails have gone as far as to start up their own stores where you can often find higher quality and more unusual nail decorations.

I hope this has given you some ideas for where to next spend your hard earned cash/PayPal balance. Let us know in the comments if there's anywhere we've not thought of - we're always happy to discover new places to feed our nail art addictions.
